OCIMF is undertaking a project to develop a paper that sets out its ambition(s) and action plan on the marine environment in line with the attached OCIMF Vision, Mission and Strategic Priorities. To assist in this process, OCIMF is undertaking an online survey to help understand its members collective ambitions on the marine environment and the actions that are critical to deliver the ambitions in the short (2020s), medium (2030s) and long term (2040s).
The survey is online OCIMF Survey on marine environment and will be open until 10 July. It will take up to 30 minutes to complete. The survey results will be anonymised and stored in OCIMF’s secure server during the project delivery time.
The survey has been set up for a member company to make only one coordinated response to the survey. We will be asking for your company response to various topics on the environment and the actions your company feels that OCIMF should undertake on the topics. Therefore, please send this email to the right person(s) within your company. A PDF document of the survey questions is attached to enable you coordinate the responses and make a single submission.
The result of the survey will inform the development of an OCIMF white paper on key environmental issues. This will be followed by a planned workshop with OCIMF members and key stakeholders. The outcome of the workshop will be used to develop a paper detailing OCIMF’s ambition(s) and action plan.
The approved action plan will be implemented by the OCIMF Environment Sub-committee in collaboration with industry partners, governments and other stakeholders. Membership of the Environment Sub-Committee is open to all OCIMF members.
