Nick Potter

Nick Potter is General Manager of Shell Shipping & Maritime for Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, a position he has held since August 2016. Previously Nick was Global Head of Maritime for BG Group before the combination with Royal Dutch Shell.

Nick has undertaken shipping leadership roles for Shell and BG Group in the United Kingdom, United States, Russian Federation, Caribbean, and Singapore, where he is currently based. He holds a Master of Engineering degree and an Honours degree in Mechanical and Marine Engineering, He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology.

Nick was previously vice chairman and a director of OCIMF - having been involved in the board since 2014. He is a board member of the Singapore Maritime Foundation, past chairman of the Lloyds Register Asia Shipowners Committee, director of Shell Tankers (Singapore) Private Limited and Shell International Shipping Services.
