To support Submitting Companies and other industry stakeholders during the COVID-19 pandemic, the OCIMF COVID-19 Task Force has been developing a series of Programme updates to alleviate some of the difficulties presented by the ongoing pandemic, these include:
- Extending availability of Live Inspection Reports in SIRE to 18 months
- Implemented the functionality to allow SIRE Inspectors to provide their Home Country and Home Port Location. Submitting Companies can use this function to select Inspectors residing closest to planned Inspection ports as part of a responsible effort to help contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
